Eduardo Alvarez Art

Eduardo was born in 1958 in Chillán, Chile. Since the beginning of his career in the late 70s when he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Universidad Católica de Chile, he has pioneered in the use of matter painting and mixed media as a figurative visual art form. As a member of the artist generation living under an oppressive military regime in Chile, in the early 80s he transitioned into creative direction and photography in the advertising industry while still exploring art from a conceptual art direction. In 2001 he moved to Utah, USA where he has regained his matter painting and mixed media approach towards art with a more abstract tilt. Eduardo also remains a creative director with broad experience in all aspects of graphic design, advertising, commercial photography and creative team management.
