EDDA is a Norwegian, independent civil-society organization working for dialogue and democracy in Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Caucasus. We were established as a sister organization to the Danish organization, SILBA. We conduct short-term, electoral observatory missions (EOM) in cooperation with local organizations.
In Norway EDDA educates election observers, arrange events on politics, social issues and history in our focus area. By doing this, we wish to enhance knowledge and awareness among Norwegian students and others on democratic transistion and consolidation.
