Eddy supports fathers facing difficult times as parents, such as the death of a child or raising a child with a disability or mental illness. These men can often feel isolated, tackling stigma and mental health difficulties – frequently unable to talk to family, colleagues, health workers and friends. Due to their responsibilities and circumstances, these fathers sometimes find conventional forms of support inaccessible. Others find it too exposing. Either way, they’re not always able to find and connect with other fathers who’ve had similar experiences. Eddy provides a safe, positive space, where fathers can share, listen and support each other as part of a flexible and familiar digital network.
