Our goal is to facilitate the upfront and lumpsum cash outflows that are critical for students and migrants and transition, while offering them the flexibility to pay over time. We have conviction to fund this typically neglected segment because the founders of EdFin were once international students and new migrants ourselves, so we are empathetic to the needs and have sufficient banking experience to know how to identify and foster good credit profiles in those circumstances. Operating Model The kind of expenses we can fund are; Tuition Fees for Higher education and Vocational Training and Education "VET". Skills assessment fees VISA application fees Flight Expenses Accommodation Expenses (rental bond or advance rental payments) Motor Vehicle finance Our loan terms are typically 12 months featuring fortnightly principal and interest repayments. Our eligibility criteria is customised to the specific circumstances in the application.
