✅ As owner and Lead Trainer of EDGE Training Academy I’m proud to say we help new managers & supervisors with NO FINANCIAL BACKGROUND understand Finance and Budgeting by getting rid of the jargon and using straightforward, plain language. I have developed my unique E.D.G.E. method to make it easy for anyone to understand. We are based in beautiful Southern Queensland but am equally happy to travel for in-person training, or to deliver training online. A fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, I’m personally uniquely qualified to train managerial staff. I’ve enjoyed over 25 years in the financial side of business. Working in the United States, England, and Australia, I’ve experienced it all—from running my own businesses to heading the finance department of an international organisation. It was here I discovered my passion and talent for training staff. I leverage this expertise to simplify financial concepts into everyday language, which I believe is the key to unlocking a clear understanding of Finance and Budgeting. We recognise the difficulties that otherwise excellent managers face when they have been given that promotion and are now expected to understand & analyse the organisations Financial Statements and how to Budget effectively. With a conscientious, friendly approach, we tailor training to suit the precise organisation and personnel concerned. With compassionate and respectful teaching, coupled with genuine humility and honesty, this training is known for its dependability and meticulousness—qualities that make for an ideal training organisation.
