Hi! I’m Ed. I’m a videographer and filmmaker from Nottingham. Despite being a lot happier promoting myself than acting as an entity, I love using the name of my original production company idea to release films under on YouTube - and being able to share the credit with creative friends on creative client work when I need to recruit talented animators or extra camera operators for a shoot! The name ‘Spinning Shapes’ originates from working for an agency in London during covid and having to teach myself Adobe AE to animate videos instead of film them. Despite animation being a small portion of my freelance work, adapting by teaching myself that new art form in isolation reminded me that I could adapt and grow alone and create anything in any circumstance. After learning how to make spinning shapes, I came up with the idea to start ‘Spinning Shapes’.
