Eastern Debating Society (EDS) is an organization dedicated to spreading the passion of debate and public speaking in Asia. EDS provides support, guidance, and opportunities to aspiring debaters who lack institutional resources. We primarily operate by organizing online debate matter & strategy sessions and practice debates. We plan on hosting tournaments to give the aspiring debaters a platform for learning debating and occasional fundraisers to help different impoverished communities in the continent. We plan to expand our reach to other countries as well while maintaining our core activities. EDS aims to unite the diverse and often isolated debate cultures in Asia, encouraging fruitful discussions, cultural exchange, and collective growth among debaters across the continent.
