In 2013, three design and animation students—Edgar, Eduardo, and Ed (yes, it was a coincidence!)—dreamed of revolutionizing the animation industry in their city. At the time, animation was practically nonexistent in the region, but they chose a different path: founding one of the first local animation studios to ignite the industry’s growth. In May 2017, Edgar Leal and Eduardo Dávila turned that dream into reality by creating EdStudios. What started as a small project quickly gained recognition through contest wins and international clients who believed in their vision. Over time, the team grew. In 2019, Sergio joined and became a cornerstone of the studio. In 2021, Lily came on board, completing a talented and passionate team that has taken the quality of our work to new heights. Today, EdStudios is more than an animation studio: we’re creators and dreamers committed to crafting unforgettable visual stories.
