eduDAO

The mission of eduDAO is to provide a low-cost, fully-accountable funding platform for the schools and nonprofits that need it the most. In addition to the funding platform, eduDAO is focused on creating both a digital and physical community. We seek to create a distributed model of educational and nonprofit funding. We will accomplish this with an approach consisting of five elements: the eduDAO funding platform, meetups to help surface challenges being faced, hackathons to create free and open-source solutions for those challenges, volunteer events to help make the necessary change happen in the communities where the schools operate, and storytelling to raise awareness of the challenges being faced. eduDAO is currently in development and we will be running our first fundraising campaigns in the first quarter of 2017.
