Edusure School was started in 2011 by Mr Samkith Banthia & Mrs Mahima Banthia, with the support of their old teachers and friends. Their aim is to help the students understand and apply the concepts of economics.
Economics is one of the most sought after and challenging subjects in today’s dynamic world. From Stock Brokers to the Reserve Bank of India, from the Planning Commission to the Banking World, each place requires economists. A good Economist commands not only respect but also high remuneration in any organisation.
In India, 6-7 premier institutes, run by the Government of India nurture students interested in pursuing an M.A program in Economics. All the institutes conduct an entrance test to select the most deserving students into their college.
The lead faculty of EduSure School are from the top two Economics’ Institutes of the country.
After topping St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Mr Ankit Banthia pursued M.S.QE from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and bagged the highest job on campus to work for the policy team of Barclays Bank, Mumbai. After a stint of two year there, he left to come back to his home town and work towards sending more Kolkata students to these premier institutes of economics.
Mrs Mahima Banthia is a former lecturer of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. She was also a Consultant for the United Nation’s Conference on Trade and Development in Delhi. She is a pass-out of Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and the Delhi School of Economics.
