EDvantage is a educational consultancy company, that focuses on the development and implementation of educational technologies (EduTech). EDvantage makes use of the Design Thinking Process for identifying and designing the best educational tools for both higher education and industry. Projects range from online teaching, simulation games and applications to more simple solutions such as board games and interactive whiteboard solutions all depending on the client’s needs. Clients include higher education institutions, public health organizations and corporate companies. We assist throughout the stages of EduTech development. A key focus area is the implementation of these technologies into the learning environment. This involves not only teacher training but also assessment of the need from the student perspective to ensure that the training for that specific course or material meets the expectation and together solutions are created to make the learning experience more interactive and immersive. This insures better learning experience and ultimately deeper understanding. The primary goal being the saving of time and money for both the teachers/trainers and the organizations. Other activities include effectiveness studies for industry to evaluate current teaching practices and inform further development and planning.
