Edward Scott and Co is a boutique Jersey legal practice that advises on complex corporate and finance transactions.
We work on complex transactions, most often across from top-ranking Jersey firms, but with a different approach. We work in small teams of experienced lawyers and this enables us to identify issues early and to draft accurately and efficiently. Our small teams fit neatly into the wider advisory team and cover both the corporate and finance aspects of a transaction, with all the efficiencies that brings.
We like to be transparent on fees and our principal-led approach also allows us to price competitively.
Unlike most of the larger Jersey firms, we do not have an administration business, so we do not compete with the administrators that we work with. We do not have a litigation department and so we are free of the conflict of interest issues that litigation businesses give rise to.
We pride ourselves on being readily contactable, highly responsive and on working collaboratively with the wider client and transaction team. The result is that we have forged long-standing relationships with prominent investors, administrators and intermediaries who value our distinct approach.
