Edwing D'Angelo

A Colombian-born New Yorker, Edwing D'Angelo caters to a fashion-savvy clientele from his Manhattan-based boutique (in the Limelight Marketplace) with designs epitomized by elegance and sensibility. A young chic and dashing designer, he has been rapidly emerging through mainstream America since 2001. D'Angelo has been featured in such publications as the New York Times, New York Post, New Daily News, Essence, WWD, MetroPop, Latina and Next. His designs have appeared in the hit film The Devil Wears Prada, starring Meryl Streep, as well as Dirty Laundry. He has served as fashion consultant for the BET Music Awards, Univision, Telemundo, MTV, VH1, CBS, ABC, Full Frontal Fashion and the A-List. D'Angelo was the custom designer for the Super Bowl XL Pepsi commercial, and was chosen by Reebok to re-design its sportswear for violin star Miri Ben-Ari in her I AM campaign. Edwing D'Angelo has dressed the likes of Vivica A. Fox and Patti LaBelle, and is a favorite designer of top celebrities like, Tyra Banks, Lil'Kim, Paula Garces, Nelly, Sean Paul, Wynonna Judd, Mo'Nique, Tia Texada and Tony Award nominee Laurie Metcalf.
