EEPEK (Scientific Association for the Promotion of Innovation in Education)

EEPEK (Epistimoniki Enosi gia tin Proothisi tis Ekpaideftikis Kainotomias - greek: Επιστημονική Ένωση για την Προώθηση της Εκπαιδευτικής Καινοτομίας), i.e. Scientific Association for the Promotion of Innovation in Education, is a Greek not-for-profit organization, whose members are education professionals from all levels of education (from pre-school to university and adult education). Its mission is the promotion of innovation in education through a series of events and activities that will support the creation, evaluation and dissemination of innovative educational practices, methodologies and tools within the Greek Educational System and the society at large. More specifically, EEPEK aims at: - Creating an open forum for the exchange and formulation of ideas regarding educational methodologies and tools. - Keeping pace with state-of-the-art educational technologies and methodologies. - Collaborating with public and private educational bodies for conducting scientific studies and research with respect to educational technology and tools. - Building synergies with national and international bodies in the field of education in order to participate in the study, design, implementation and evaluation of actions that deal with the dissemination and utilization of Innovation in Education. - Strengthening communication and cooperation and cultivating solidarity among its members and affiliates.
