About EERI Washington State Chapter
The Washington State Chapter of EERI was established in the Spring of 2013. The goal of the chapter is to engage earthquake professionals throughout the state to build understanding of cutting edge research and practice, while facilitating networking and collaboration between a diverse membership. Local chapter members include structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, infrastructure engineers, geoscientists, emergency planners, urban planners, architects, social scientists and other professional disciplines. The local chapter holds regular board meetings and special events, such as speaker presentations and networking dinners. Members are also kept informed about other important events around the Puget Sound area and the rest of the state.
