Efficient Frontier Investing

Based in Geneva, Efficient Frontier Investing was founded in 2018 by two former investment managers with the aim of providing niche and lucrative investment opportunities to their clients. EFI specialises in both private and public investment vehicles; from venture capital portfolios of Swiss-based startups companies in technology and life sciences, and Israeli high-tech ventures, to highly concentrated thematic equity portfolios. EFI believes that specific investments and portfolio returns are set by the markets and, as such, cannot be managed. However, the risks associated with such investments and portfolios, once understood, can be attenuated. Our expertise is best applied to managing such risks, which starts by analysing and understanding the inherent risks of the components of the portfolio. We strive to reduce implicit risks while maintaining expected market returns and, in so doing, deliver risk/returns above the Markowitz Efficient Frontier. We have partnered with Cardea Capital SA, a boutique investment firm with offices in Geneva, Barcelona and London, providing specialist merchant banking and investment advisory services; complementing EFI's risk management skills with highly specialised advice and distribution services.
