The center aims to tailor creation and use of functional surfaces and interfaces through in micron- and submicron sized systems for applications in medicine/molecular biology, material science, nanotechnology, nano/microfluidics and power generation.
Activities of the center strive for an in-depth understanding of surface and interface phenomena in molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry of diseases, omics approaches, clinical collaborations, chemistry and material fundamentals, surface and interface interactions, power generation in small scale along with targeted device design.
