Bio-diesel is an alternative fuel that is used to replace conventional diesel. It is made by converting used cooking oil (UCO) through a chemical process called transesterification. WHY USE BIO-DIESEL? 1)Easy to use - No modifications required for the vehicle engine. 2)Better engine performance - Biodiesel improves fuel lubricity which prevents moving parts from wearing out prematurely. 3)Reduces emissions and gases - Lower CO2 emissions reduce exhaust smoke thus reducing the impacts of global warming. 4)Reduces dependance on oil - Substitutes conventional diesel thus improving energy balance and security. 5)Toxicity and recycling - Less Toxic.
