The Economic Growth Connection (EGC) is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit membership based organization, unique in bring together all of the public and private stakeholders with an interest in the regional economy. This unique mix of private and public sector organizations has been leading the positive growth in the economy of the region since 2000. In that time, EGC has participated in nearly $1 billion of investments made by companies relocating or expanding in the county. That investment has led to the creation of nearly 6,000 jobs and the retention of more than 15,000 jobs in Westmoreland.
