Egin

Egin is a programme that aims to unlock the collective power of communities in Wales to tackle climate change and become more sustainable. (Scroll down for English) Mae Egin yn raglen sy’n bwriadu datgloi pŵer cyfunol cymunedau yng Nghymru i daclo newid hinsawdd a dod yn fwy cynaliadwy. Rydym yn gwybod y gallai hi fod yn anodd gwybod ble i ddechrau a beth i’w wneud, a dyna pam yr ydym yn cysylltu grwpiau cymunedol gyda Mentoriaid Cymheiriaid. Mae nhw’n bobl sydd eisoes wedi gwneud prosiectau tebyg ac sy’n hapus i rannu eu gwybodaeth a’u sgiliau i’ch helpu i wneud y newidiadau rydych eisiau eu gweld. Mae Egin yn cael ei redeg gan Gymdeithas Ymddiriedolaethau Datblygu Cymru (CYD Cymru) a bydd yn rhedeg tan 2029. Mae’n cael ei hariannu trwy Camau Cynaliadwy Cymru – Grant Mentora; mae’r grantiau yn cael eu gweinyddu gan Gronfa Gymunedol y Loteri Genedlaethol ac mae’r arian yn dod o’r Cynllun Cyfrifon Segur – sy’n rhoddi arian wedi ei adael heb ei gyffwrdd am fwy na 15 mlynedd mewn cyfrifon banc a chymdeithasau adeiladu. ENGLISH: We know that it can be hard to know where to start and what to do, which is why we connect community groups with Peer Mentors. These are people who have already done similar projects and are happy to share their knowledge and skills to help you make the changes you want to see. Egin is led by the Development Trusts Association Wales (DTA Wales) and will run until 2029. It is funded by a Sustainable Steps Wales – Mentoring Grant; the grants are administered by The National Lottery Community Fund and the funding comes from the Dormant Accounts Scheme – which donates money left untouched for more than 15 years in bank accounts and building societies.
