EGL has a fleet of 4x4 tractor units, cargo trailers and mini-rigs, capable of transporting loads too heavy to be legally carried by a van, thus providing an economical alternative to the HGV option. Our current payload is 2.6 tonnes on an uncovered load with a bed size of 7x2.55m. As well as this we have a Mercedes Sprinter LWB panel van, a Ford Transit Luton with tail lift and Toyota Proace SWB (for small priority parcels). We plan to build our fleet and will be introducing a ski-jump vehicle transporter, a swan neck plant trailer and a swan neck curtain side pallet trailer with payloads up to 4200kg. WE also offer a variety of storage from caravan to vehicle to indoor pallet storage and totes EGL is a York-based family run-business.
