EgyNano is a biotechnology company that is specialized in novel products in the medical field.
Most of our products are related to nanomedicine.
EgyNano is the result of a close collaboration between Professor Mahmoud Elsabahy and Professor Mostafa Hamad since 2013. The formal inauguration of EgyNano was in 2017 in Assiut, Egypt.
The main role of EgyNano is translational, i.e., we develop novel products from the stage of idea to the final stages, preparing the product for license and/or marketing.
EgyNano is working on several products in different developmental stages, including the stages of formulation, preclinical testing, proof of concept/principle, or license application.
We are working on several projects including oral delivery platform, hemostatic devices and others.
We have won the Gold Medal from International Geneva Inventions Conference in 2021 for our invention "Oral Insulin; Effective and Long Acting"
