Based on the National Statistics, 1,600 young people aged between 13-18, living in Gravesham and struggling with their mental health.
The Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund provides fast, access to mental health counselling for young people aged 13-18, living in Gravesham. The counselling referral form provides the means to access mental health counselling fast. We provide the funding direct to independent, local BACP counsellors who accept EHMF terms. Our one point of contact quickly builds trust with young people. Money is raised by the local community and businesses through a variety of events and sponsorship.
Since April 2022 up until November 2024 we have supported nearly 300 young people.
Inspired by my 19 year old Stepson, Elliott, who took his own life in June 2020.
