Europe India Business Council

The Europe India Business Council (EIBC) is an international non-profit association, based in Brussels and operating under a royal decree by His Majesty the King of the Belgians. The organization aims to promote the bilateral relationship between the European Union and the Republic of India on economic, trade, political, ecological and social fronts, through a series of high value exchanges, activations and events. In an increasingly multi-polar world, the growing congruence of interests between the EU and India has the potential to serve as an anchor of stability and progress for the entire world. In recognition of this potential, the logo of EIBC is designed to show this confluence of values between the two regions. The 12 stars depict the people of Europe in the form of a circle, a sign of their Union, while the color is inspired by the saffron color on India’s flag that symbolizes the shared value of courage and valor. The wheel of progress at the center of the logo, has 36 spokes, that denote all the states and union territories of India, colored Blue inspired by blue sky of progressive values represented by Europe. Fused together in infinite motion, these two elements represent the growing confluence and harmony between the peoples of both regions, who share an increasingly common view and shared interests in economic, social, democratic, ecological and human progress.
