The EIT Health Innovators Community was set up as a cross-cutting initiative in 2017, with the goal of enhancing the wider EIT Health community by connecting enthusiastic innovators to the different EIT Health and cross-KIC Alumni activities. In 2018, the Network will focus on expanding its programme and add new offers and tools to the EIT Health Innovators Community Platform. The overarching target is to further strengthen the exchange among alumni and partners, resulting in activities in the digital and non-digital sphere. Objectives
The EIT Health Innovators Community supports EIT Health’s mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the health sector by building a renowned network of students, professionals, entrepreneurs and executives with multi-disciplinary skills and backgrounds. The network will provide opportunities to connect across all three EIT Health pillars and promote vocational workshops and job offers from within the EIT Health network. Start-ups and companies will find an attractive platform to promote their businesses and get in touch with potential partners and talents in their respective environments. With its profile and outreach, the Innovators Community will help to consolidate EIT Health's reputation as a renowned pacemaker for innovation in health and healthcare in Europe.
Target Group
The target group consists of EIT Health Innovators Community from all three EIT Health pillars – as well as EIT Health Partners, who can treat the network as a talent pool comprised of a highly specialised and experienced community. In order to create synergies across the European EIT Network, the target group will be selectively expanded to alumni from all KICs on occasions such as Alumni CONNECT and the EIT Startup Days. If you are a graduate of an EIT Health project, we want you to participate.
