The WorkInHealth Foundation created by EIT Health addresses the evident and growing skills and talent gaps within the healthcare industry across Europe. We reckon the urgency is clear: without major, systemic change, the sustainability and growth potential of the EU healthcare industry is at risk. The WorkInHealth Foundation, a social business backed by the EU, will federate collective action to address the concrete risk of a sectorial labour shortage in the coming decade, meet the growing demand for a digital data-driven workforce and deep tech talents in healthcare. The WorkInHealth Foundation will close the gap between health industry needs and fit for purpose talents to foster health innovation for all by — anticipating the future by generating business and skills intelligence — attracting new talent pool to sector with pan-EU media to transform image of health industry — training millions of talent with skills programmes answering industry present and future needs — matching employers and talent.
