EJAAD

EJAAD was launched in January 2018 with a shared vision of more than 50 stakeholders from industry, academia and government, as a vehicle to realize the mandates and aspirations of Oman Energy Industry-Academia R&D Protocol. The protocol - initially signed between the Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MoEM), Ministry of higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in 2017 - aims to collaborate and support research and innovation, and establish efficient R&D partnerships towards Oman’s knowledge-based economy. EJAAD is a collaboration & communication hub for research and innovation in Oman linking academic research to industry needs with focus areas in; Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Water, Energy, Environment, Bioeconomy, Digitalization & AI. By providing services; industrial challenges, researcher’s network, research ideas, equipment & facilities database (iLab), staff Mobility (EIDAAD) online consultancy, and International collaboration.
