Since year 2006, Ekobenz Ltd. has been conducting the research to develop a novel technology appropriate for the industrial production of second generation biohydrocarbons, mainly liquid ones from bioethanol. Liquid biohydrocarbons will be used as a suitable component for gasoline.
At present the Ekobenz launches production plant in Bogumiłów with an annual capacity of 22500 metric tonnes of liquid biohydrocarbons.
The Ekobenz has own specialist laboratories both in Lublin and in Bogumiłów. The laboratories have a high class of equipment necessary for testing the quality of products obtained in the catalytic ETG reaction and also for monitoring the reaction parameters. The laboratory employees are high-class professionals in various fields of chemistry.
