EKON Modeling Software Systems Limited (EKON) is a dynamic and innovative software development and consultancy firm that helps small and medium-sized businesses and government institutions to connect their employees, customers/citizens and other stakeholders, through a social, collaborative and knowledge-driven eco-system. A system designed for converting information into ‘operational knowledge’, breaking through knowledge silos to make sense out of the vast amounts of data and providing insight and enhanced understanding of the big-data. Founded in 2008, EKON has grown building a strong software architectural experience and a robust engineering approach leading software development projects ranging between 1 and 10€ million and proving value in its European customer base. Our approach and development skills are well respected across multiple areas and industries (ICT, Knowledge Management, Security, Financial, CRM and Call Centres, Government, Education, Insurance, Aerospace and Manufacturing). EKON most relevant expertise and skills comprises: system architecture and design skills using UML, MDA and DDD design methodologies; software development in Microsoft .Net framework 4.5.x, C# programming language, MVC5 web applications framework, responsive web development for web & mobile (jQuery, Kendo UI, HTML5 & CSS3), MongoDB (NoSQL) and MSSQL database using Entity Framework (EF). Also, EKON will bring its experience from participating in research, development and innovation projects co-funded by the European Commission as partner or subcontractor. EKON has mainly focused in security and government oriented projects, and has participated in iNTeg-Risk FP7 project, he was mainly responsible for the development of DKM.
