Ekoopština

Federation of actors is at the core of the Ekoopština contest which will start in Serbia in 2022, after being successfully implemented in Poland (Eco-miasto) and Bulgaria (Ecoobchtina). It strives to federate various stakeholders (central and local authorities, research centers and universities, associations, companies) within a permanent network of partners. Ekoopština is a contest which aims at promoting local good practices in four main areas contributing to the urban sustainable development: • Energy efficiency in public and private buildings; • Water management; • Waste management; • Sustainable Mobility This contest is dedicated to all Serbian municipalities and rewards in each of the 4 above-mentioned categories 1 major municipality (more than 40.000 inhabitants) and 1 smaller municipality (less than 40.000 inhabitants).
