Elaborate Documentation

We're a startup formed at Umeå University's Innovation Bootcamp, where we found our passion for making researchers' work more valuable. We're tackling a real problem in science: Over half of all scientists we’ve spoken to spend almost a quarter of their day on mundane documentation instead of actual research. That's we want to fix with Elaborate. According to our research, which includes dozens of in-person interviews and surveys, current documentation is often incomplete, incorrect and difficult to use for further research. This makes documentation feel disconnected from actual research. We want to offer you documentation that fits your real workflow by focusing on how researchers actually work, both individually as well as collaboratively.
