Founded in 2010, English Language Activities and Societies Club of BITS Hyderabad is one of first Student Lead Clubs established on campus since the founding stone was laid to BITS Pilani's 3rd Flagship Institute in India in 2008 at Hyderabad.
ELAS members have had a rich history of representing BITS in Debate, Elocution, Writing and Poetry competitions all over Hyderabad.
Since 2012, ELAS remains one of the few clubs till date that single handedly organizes an independent Festival for the Students of BPHC, Verba Maximus.
