Elastic Copilot is a Visual Studio Code extension that integrates an AI assistant directly into the editor. It can run terminal commands, modify project files, open a live browser view for local previews, and maintain a complete activity log for reviewing or reverting changes. Drawing on the full context of the workspace, it generates, tests, and refactors code in languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, C#, C++, Ruby, PHP, Swift, and Kotlin. All analysis is performed locally, with only minimal data used for inference and never stored externally.
