More than 10M individuals in the UK suffer from some form of arthritis, and for these individuals child resistant packaging can cause pain and distress. While 25,000 children under 5 are still admitted to hospital each year in the UK for accidental poisoning. Our Safer-Cap product has passed a rudimental testing phase showing its ability to be easily opened by those suffering from a range of joint and muscle conditions, while keeping children within the age ranges at risk of accidental poisoning out. At Elddir we have developed a low friction form of child resistant closure that breaks the convention of needing to force, push or squeeze a bottle top to open the container.
