Seçki Müşahidə Alyansı-Election Observation Alliance

Election Observation Alliance (hereafter EOA or Alliance) is a non-governmental organization working for the organization of free and fair elections, development of civil society and democracy in Azerbaijan. Alliance was founded in 2023 based on a memorandum signed at the joint meeting of 3 founding organizations, "Participation House", "Tomorrow’s Lawyers" and "Student Community Center". The Alliance strives to promote the right to vote and promote the fundamental principles of democracy, free, fair and transparent elections, and to achieve this goal, it has identified the following as the main directions of action 1. Help to improve the electoral experience 2. Impartial and professional election monitoring 3. Promotion of voter education The alliance is managed by the board of directors, which is the main decision-making body and consists of 5 representatives from 3 constituent organizations. Elections to the board of directors are held at the organization's general meeting, and the term of office of board members is 5 years. The broad composition of the Alliance is formed by professionals who have observed elections and referendums in different countries as part of international election observation missions. This included elections held in countries such as the United States of America, Norway, Hungary, Montenegro, Sweden, Ukraine, Georgia and Slovakia.
