About Electroforming s.r.o.
The electroforming (galvanoplasty) technology expands the possibilities for designers. With an understanding of this technology, you will use the word "unmanufacturable" less often. The principle of this technology is electroforming (from the English term "electroforming") of geometric shapes using electrochemical deposition of metal layers onto a production model. Through galvanic plating, layers ranging from tens of micrometers to several millimeters are applied. Once the thickness reaches a few tenths of a millimeter, the deposited layer becomes self-supporting, and the grown imprint remains dimensionally stable even after being separated from the production model. Our technologies: • Nickel electroforming • Copper electroforming • Chemical nickel plating • Chemical silver plating • Electrochemical deburring and descaling Industrial sectors: • Engineering: Tools and molds, gauges, coolers, heat exchangers, electrodes, abrasive tools with metal matrices, masking fixtures, covers • Aerospace: Rocket engine combustion chambers, composite materials, and structural components • Electrotechnics: Microwave components – waveguides, electrodes • Physics: Mirrors, radiation reflectors, optical components, apertures, slits, parabolas, shielding elements, targets for vacuum technologies, hologram matrices • Automotive industry: Headlight reflectors, molds for pressing dashboards or gear shift knobs, masking templates • Music industry: Tools for pressing CDs and vinyl records • Rubber industry: Molds for manufacturing shoes, toys, rubber gloves, special sealing elements, molds for products with surfaces imitating natural materials • Heritage preservation: Production of copies and originals of metal elements, reliefs, badges, sculptures, engravings, decorative fittings, or plating of 3D prints
