Electron-X was established in 2003 to provide cost effective X-ray inspection solutions for customers with specific quality requirements.
All senior members of staff at Electron-X have a career background in the NDT X-ray industry as well as specialist experience in manufacturing, design and project management of radiation equipment and facilities.
We have several fully trained and experienced Radiation Protection Supervisors qualified to work with all aspects of x-ray. We also offer radiation safety training to give our customer a clear understanding of safe working practices and full confidence in the high safety standards of our systems.
Rooms & Enclosures
X-ray rooms built for radiation shielding using varying materials and adopting different construction methods depending on factors such as enclosure size and location, X-ray source power and project budget. We also incorporate sample handling mechanisms, imaging systems, safety systems and powered doors where required.
Cabinets
We can provide standard units or custom designs to suit unique product and inspection requirements. Cabinets can be provided with or without X-ray source, sample manipulator and imaging. Custom design we will advise on system practically, safety and ergonomics.
Safety Systems
Complete, integrated safety systems to suit any X-ray cabinet or room. Safety systems include warning lamps, fail-safe interlocks, emergency-stop button, etc. All our safety systems are built to meet or exceed IRR99 regulations.
Support & Technical Services
Refurbishment of existing equipment, including large bays and enclosures, cabinet systems and associated X-ray equipment. We offer an emergency call-out service, pre-booked service support and maintenance contracts.
Inspection Services
Electron-X provides a comprehensive in-house inspection service at our facility in Milton Keynes. A wide range of state-of-the-art real-time microfocus x-ray systems are available to suit different sample sizes and types.
