ElectronEV is a new age technology startup that specializes in creating and building customer-centric zero-emission vehicles and energy efficient eco-system for light, medium & heavy duty commercial automotive industry. With innovation at heart, the company is focused on vertically integrating a Smart & Connected Skateboard platform that will enable rapid expansion to several vehicle applications such as delivery vans, trucks, buses, and speciality vehicles for on and off-road vehicle market. With global aspirations, ElectronEV was founded in 2018 in California - USA and in Hyderabad – India. With US & India being the initial go-to markets, the US entity will design & build advanced powertrain systems utilizing the Silicon Valley ecosystem while the India entity will be focussed on application-specific vehicle integration, manufacturing, and end to end mobility service. Commercial vehicle market is a fragmented, complex, application driven, weight and cost-sensitive segment unlike consumer space. ElectronEV strongly believes that staying customer-centric will allow for mass adoption of zero-emission vehicles. In line with this belief, the founders have innovated the company’s technology stack to facilitate high frequency modular & scalable manufacturing for versatile market requirements globally. The manufacturing is planned to occur in decentralized, smaller footprint Microfactories for faster operational readiness to meet growing market demands and profitability at lower volumes with lower capex. These clusters will rely on localization of supply chain thereby promoting local economy. The founders envision a net zero carbon infrastructure from well to wheels and believe that ElectronEV electric powertrains & vehicles will be the most efficient to manufacture and own on a long run thereby enabling shared mobility services for people & goods: aka ‘Uber for Trucks’.
