Electronics Society - ESOC

Electronics Society(ESOC) is a Student Organization associated with the Department of Electronics of Faculty of Applied Sciences of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. It was established in 2007 and was initiated by the 2004-2005 batch of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. Founder President was Mr. Ruchira Jeewananda, and the initiative board members include Mr. Upanith S. Liyanaarachchi and Mr. T. T. D. Ruberu while the Senior Treasurer was Dr. Asanka Karunarathna. The Head of Department of that period was Prof.(Mrs.) G. A. K.S. Perera. Electronics Society has now grown into a leading organization in the University with the support of all the members of the Department. Mission The mission of the ESOC is to enabling the member’s careers and promoting community island-wide. The ESOC promotes to innovate, develop, integrate, share, and apply the knowledge about electronics and information technologies and sciences for the benefit of humanity and the profession. AIMS To provide academic and moral support for all Wayamba University Electronic Students. To promote the study and enjoyment of Electronic within Wayamba University, and outwith the community. To provide and promote a link between Wayamba University Electronic Staff and Students.
