Electronics Mart India Ltd (EMIL) is the 4th largest and one of the fastest growing consumer durables and electronics retailers in India (as of the Financial Year 2021) & largest regional organized player in the southern region in revenue terms with dominance in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. With 200+ aesthetically designed stores totaling 18 Lakhs+ square feet of retail business area across 84 cities, it offers over 6,000 stock-keeping units across product categories from more than 70 consumer durable and electronic brands.
EMIL was started by the visionary business leader Mr. Pavan Kumar Bajaj way back in 1980 as a proprietary concern by setting up the first consumer durable and electronic retail store in Hyderabad in the name of Bajaj Electronics. In 2011, it converted the erstwhile sole proprietorship into a partnership firm under the name of ‘M/s Bajaj Electronics. Subsequently, the partnership firm was converted into a public limited company under the Companies Act, 2013 with the name ‘Electronics Mart India Limited’.
EMIL offers a diversified range of products & services with a focus on large appliances (air conditioners, televisions, washing machines, and refrigerators), mobiles, small appliances, IT, modular kitchens, home automation, home cinema, and others. Today EMIL has a presence in the tier-I and tier-II cities in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana & NCR.
EMIL operates its stores in the name of Bajaj Electronics (South India’s most trusted multi-brand electronics retailer), Electronics Mart (Multi-brand retail chain in NCR for consumer electronics), Kitchen Stories (Luxury built-in appliances & modular kitchens experiential showrooms in partnership with German brand Häcker Kitchens), IQ Store (Authorized Apple reseller), Audio & Beyond (India’s largest experience center for home cinema, home automation & multi-room audio) and Easy Kitchens (Exclusive stores for affordable modular kitchens & built-in kitchen appliances).
