Based in Montreal, ELEKTRA is a presenter of works and artists that combine art and new technologies while embracing current aesthetics of research and experimentation. 🔬🤖 Discover ELEKTRA through its various events: - The annual festival has been working to discover the full diversity of performance practices, particularly audiovisual and audiovisual robotics, immersive, participatory, since 1999. 🎆 - The International Biennial of Digital Art (BIAN), has been a major contemporary art exhibition combining new technologies with contemporary artistic creation in new, innovative or critical ways since 2012. 🧐 - The International Market for Digital Art (MIAN), is an annual professional meeting open to the public that since 2007 has welcomed major players in the digital art and culture ecosystem to encourage new international collaborations. 🌎 - La Galerie, located at 5445 avenue de Gaspé, has been presenting several exhibitions a year since 2019, by established and emerging artists whose artistic research combines new technologies and other disciplines such as biology. 🖼️ - The ELEKTRA Virtual Musem (EVM), a virtual museum launched in 2022, imagined as a meeting place and exchange freed from the constraints of the real world, to democratize access to the digital arts by strolling through a 3D virtual space with singular architecture. 👾
