Elementary

Producer Arthur Cohen launched Elementary in 2021, through a partnership with international sales group Playtime. The company brings to the big screen bold and singular stories working from original concepts and existing IP. From development through to release, we apply a hands-on and curated approach to each project, establishing alternative financing models focused on strong collaborations while fostering long-term relationships with first-time filmmakers. Though we strongly believe that no story is too small, every project on our slate must have a clear audience and resonate with the zeitgeist. To us, producing means teamwork, transparency, and the utmost respect for the creative process. Elementary’s first feature, the abortion dramedy CHERRY, won the Audience Award at the 2022 Tribeca Film festival and was acquired by Starz in the US. Our second feature, MOM’S PALE FLOWERS, an environmental drama directed by Ali Cabbar is currently in post-production. It will be released in Turkey by Mars Productions.
