eleQtra is an infrastructure project developer active across sub-Saharan Africa. eleQtra employs a team of 30 infrastructure professionals based in London, New York, Accra, Kampala, Maputo and Lusaka and has unrivalled expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects and PPPs in frontier markets. Our focus sectors include power, renewable energy, transport, water and sanitation and irrigation for agriculture. eleQtra has developed and raised over $1bn in finance for a portfolio of projects including the 350MW Cenpower IPP in Ghana, the 28MW Cabeólica Wind project in Cape Verde, the Kalangala Infrastructure project in Uganda and the Chanyanya Irrigation project in Zambia. Today eleQtra has a pipeline of over 300MW of grid connected renewable energy projects in development across Africa, is developing four waterway transport projects and is rolling out Solar eleQtra, our proprietary off grid solar solution, to customers including large households, small businesses and health clinics.
