Elevation Home Loans, LLC was a start-up residential mortgage company that was sold to Resource Capital Corp in 2013. The concept for Elevation Home Loans (“EHL” or the “Company”) was created in early 2011. EHL’s founder, Anthony Coniglio, had been covering consumer lenders as an investment banker and structured finance banker for 15 years and identified the opportunity to develop an independent mortgage company that would capitalize on the transformation underway in the mortgage industry. The Company would be free of legacy issues and take a more credit-oriented, consumer finance approach as compared to the sales-orientation of traditional mortgage companies. The founder recognized that an analytics-based strategy which improves the business model and leverages technology would create a highly efficient, highly scalable and highly profitable platform.
