About Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund
EIWPF is an industry wide labor management cooperation committee. There are over 700 employers in the elevator industry across the United States and 29,000 organized elevator constructors working for them. The fund was created for the purpose of improving labor-management relationships, competitiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness and economic development. EIWPF is dedicated to providing a forum for open and honest discussions of problems confronting employees and employers in the elevator industry. We provide them with opportunities to study and explore joint approaches to occupational safety and health, as well as improve communications between representatives of labor and management. We also are engaging in public relations and public education programs to promote the Organized Elevator industry.
