eleven:eleven has created Periphero, a neuroprosthetic that targets patients where the communication has been damaged between their brain and peripheral nerves, such as in post-stroke hemiplegia. By tapping into the already existing and functioning facilities of the human body, such as the nerves and muscles via electrical stimulation, muscle contractions are created, resulting in movement.
