Established in 2001 after the merge of the GGA and Sogeme, Elex Italia currently represents one of the most important purchasing groups in the electrical equipment sector in Italy. The combined turnover of its members exceeded 1,5 billion euros in 2018 and their combined market has been following a constant growth over the past years and currently sits at around 25%
The future holds two key objectives for the consortium: to increase the competitiveness of its members and to create an even more important integration between each one of them.
Headquarters are located in Assago, just outside of Milan. Here, numerous services and support activities are being developed and managed, such as centralised (electronic) invoicing, bi-monthly promotional offers, website management, e-commerce management of Spesa Elettrica, Big-data analysis, Elex TV in-store television, the centralisation of insurance policies, market analysis and the development of private label products and various other cutting edge innovative solutions to increasingly improve the competitiveness of its members on the Italian market.
