الفارس ELFARS یک نام تک سیلابی مخفف ELEVATOR که به معنای آسانسور و نام FARS فارس، حاکی از ایرانی بودن شرکت است. در همان زمان الفارس با توجه به پتانسیل فنی مدیران خود یکی از برترین شرکت های آسانسور در ایران بود و توانست سهم خودرا از بازار ایران به دست آورد. خودکفایی در امر تولید خط مشی بود که مدیران الفارس در آن سالها در برنامه کاری خود قرار دارند و با تولید درب های اتوماتیک برای اولین بار در ایران کمک شایانی به شکوفایی این صنعت در ایران کردند.
