Eli Review

The ridiculously helpful Eli Review platform helps students receive more rounds of feedback and revision on their writing than ever before. Unlike relying on Google Docs or Microsoft Word to manage feedback, Eli Review allows instructors to see all of the feedback a student has received, and how that student has integrated the feedback into the writing. And instructors can provide instruction to students on how to offer more constructive, effective feedback. Plus, instructors have access to useful analytics, so they can track student progress against their learning goals. Academic research shows - more feedback and more revisions equals better writing outcomes. Eli Review (also known simply as “Eli”) was invented to support evidence-based teaching practices and facilitate rich peer learning environments. Invented in writing classrooms at Michigan State University, Eli became necessary because no technologies existed to support the feedback and revision cycles that lead to better learning and more effective writers.
