In 1982, our Technical Director of Aerial Imaging, Massashi Ishikiriyama, creator of this project, is invited by the Brazilian Navy to develop a drone program aboard the Minas Gerais aircraft carrier with the objective of being used as aerial targets for training with ground missiles. -air.
After operating between 1992 and 2001 in the navigation, offshore and subsea operations market, in 2019, the company starts to invest in new technologies, such as aerial imaging with post processing using RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aicraft System), adopting the name of ElipSea Technology, expanding its portfolio of technological solutions in the Oil & Gas, Agribusiness, Non-Destructive Testing (END), Photovoltaic Energy, Transmission Lines, Wind Energy, among other sectors.
In 2020, the company won its first contract, having as a client one of the largest Oil & Gas operators in the world, the Norwegian BW Offshore, also becoming an official supplier of services to BW Energy and Banco do Brasil.
In 2021, the company is contracted to participate in the decommissioning process of FPSO Polvo, Offshore Oil & Gas Production and Storage Unit, operated by BW Offshore, under the management of Petrorio. ElipSea Technology also becomes a certified supplier to Petrobras, EGIS Latam and Wellbore Integrity Solutions.
